Hello dear host family! ??
My name is Sharon, I’m 21 and from Kenya. I already have my French au pair visa in my passport and I’m ready to travel to France very soon. I’m now looking for a warm family where I can become part of the family and build a genuine connection with the children.
I have over 3 years of childcare experience, including experience living and working with an international family abroad. I currently care for three children aged 6 years, 2 years and a newborn, and before this I worked as a babysitter in Kenya with children ranging from newborns to 15 years old. This has made me confident with different ages, routines and personalities, while teaching me patience, responsibility and adaptability.
I truly enjoy caring for children through play, reading, creative activities, outdoor adventures and helping with homework. I want children to feel safe, happy, heard and loved while respecting the family's routines and parenting style.
I speak English and Swahili and I’m learning French. I’m excited to experience French culture, improve my French and share my own culture with my host family.
One thing I’d like to mention openly: I don’t currently have a driving licence, so I’m looking for a family where driving is not an essential part of the au pair responsibilities. I’m very happy to walk, cycle, use public transport or find other practical ways to get around and support the family.
Since my visa is already approved, there is no visa waiting period. I’m simply looking for the right family and am ready to travel. ??????
