My name is Leah, and I am from Kenya. I am a friendly, caring, responsible and open-minded young woman excited about becoming an au pair and experiencing life with a host family abroad.

I am currently in my final year studying General Agriculture. I enjoy learning new things, meeting people from different backgrounds and discovering new cultures. One of the things that attracts me most to being an au pair is the opportunity to experience your culture and traditions while sharing my Kenyan culture, language and experiences with you.

Although I have never worked as a professional au pair before, I am genuinely interested in childcare and understand that caring for children requires patience, kindness, responsibility and attentiveness. I am willing to learn your family's routines, follow your guidance and adapt to your expectations. I would love to become someone your children feel comfortable around, whether we are playing, talking, learning or simply spending time together.

I speak English and Swahili and am comfortable communicating in English. I would also be excited to learn or improve another language during my stay.

I consider myself hardworking, adaptable and eager to learn. I understand that being an au pair is about much more than travelling to another country. It means becoming part of a family, helping with children's daily routines and contributing positively to family life. I will respect your family's rules, privacy, culture and way of life.

I would be happy to help with age-appropriate childcare, playing with the children, keeping them company, helping with their routines and assisting with light household tasks related to them. I am also open to learning new responsibilities and skills.

Most importantly, I hope to build a genuine and respectful relationship with my host family. I would love to find a family where we can communicate openly, understand each other's expectations and make one another feel comfortable and welcomed.
