My name is Rose Wairimu, and I am a 24-year-old woman from Kenya. I hold a bachelor's degree in Mass Communication with a specialization in Public Relations. I currently work as a Customer Service Representative, where I enjoy helping people and making their daily lives easier by providing personalized support. This role has strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to remain calm and caring in different situations.
I come from a family of four children. For many years, I was the youngest and was always the one being looked after and spoiled. That changed on 16th March 2026 when my little sister was born.
I still remember the first time I held her. She was so tiny and beautiful that I couldn't stop looking at her. I remember thinking, "She is perfect." From that moment, I fell in love with caring for children.
As she grew, I became actively involved in looking after her and enjoyed watching her reach every milestone. Soon after, my niece was born, and I spent long periods caring for her as well. Over time, friends and neighbors began trusting me to babysit their children, and I also started tutoring and nannying. What began as helping family slowly became something I genuinely loved and eventually turned into a rewarding side job.
Through these experiences, I have learned that caring for children is much more than keeping them safe. It means being patient, encouraging, attentive, and creating an environment where they feel loved and supported. I enjoy playing games, helping with homework, reading stories, and being part of a child's growth and development. Watching children learn new things and gain confidence brings me so much joy.
I am responsible, kind, dependable, and intentional in everything I do. I understand the importance of being someone parents can trust and someone children feel comfortable around.
