Introduction
My name is Sofia, but everybody calls me Soph. I’m 18 years old and I live in Italy, more precisely in Sardinia. I really like where I live because I feel it reflects my personality: friendly, radiant, empathetic, and independent.
I would love to become an Au Pair in your country since I’ve always felt a deep connection to your culture and, above all, to children. My main formal experience with kids was in the summer of 2023, when I worked as a children’s entertainer. Alongside that, I have spent a lot of time caring for my cousin, who is now 6 years old. Watching him grow, develop his personality, and learn to express himself has been an incredible experience. This is one of a thousand reasons why I love working with kids: I naturally relate to them and love seeing the world through their eyes.
I have many hobbies, but the ones I focus on most are cooking and baking; in fact, I really enjoy preparing traditional Italian meals and pastries of any kind. I also like playing video games, such as Minecraft. I consider myself quite sporty, since I enjoy various sports, and in my spare time, I love playing the guitar and crocheting. Growing up, I also developed a strong passion for animals. I have had two cats, and even though one of them passed away this year, I still consider him a deeply important part of my family and my life.
As an Au Pair, you can expect me to be reliable, respectful of your home rules, and proactive. I am more than happy to help with light housework, preparing meals, and keeping things organized.
