My name is Gisselia, I’m 19 years old and I’m from Bogor, Indonesia. ????
I’m currently looking for a kind, welcoming and open-minded host family where we can respect, trust and support each other. For me, becoming an Au Pair is not only about taking care of children or helping with daily tasks. I would really like to experience family life, share everyday moments and feel like a part of the family.
I would love to be more than just an Au Pair who comes to work and then goes back to her room. I hope I can become like an older sister to the children — someone they can play with, talk to, laugh with and feel comfortable around. At the same time, I also understand the importance of respecting the parents, family rules and everyone’s privacy, including having my own personal time and space.
I have experience caring for my younger cousin for about three months, and I also had a six-month hospital internship where I had the opportunity to spend time in the children’s ward. These experiences taught me to be patient, caring and responsible.
I have a Goethe A2 certificate and I’m still learning languages. I can also communicate in simple everyday English. I’m ready to start as soon as possible. ??
I hope to find a family where we can learn from each other, share our cultures and make everyday life enjoyable for everyone. I would also be happy to share some Indonesian food, culture and traditions with you. ????
