Hi! My name is Lindsay, I’m 26 years old and I’m from France. I’m currently an au pair in New Jersey and I’m looking for a wonderful host family for my extension year in the United States. ??
hours of childcare experience. Before coming to the U.S., I worked as a nanny for a family with four children, from 3 months to 8 years old, for about a year and a half. I’m currently taking care of children between 10 months and 4 years old, so I’m very comfortable with both infants and older children, and with the energy that comes with a busy family! I’m also infant qualified and have my American Red Cross First Aid certification.

I’m a warm, caring and responsible person, but I’m also very energetic and love being active with children. I enjoy taking them outside, going to parks and libraries, reading, singing, doing arts and crafts, cooking and finding little activities that make their days fun and meaningful. Outside of childcare, I love horseback riding (I’ve been riding for 14 years!), swimming, singing, cooking, sewing, hiking and exploring new places.

For my extension year, I’m hoping to find a family where I can genuinely become part of the family and have a wonderful cultural exchange. I would love to share my French culture with you while discovering more of American family life and traveling around the U.S. during my time off
