Hello! My name is Alpha, and I am from the Philippines. I’m excited about the possibility of becoming an Au Pair and getting to know your family.
I would describe myself as a caring, patient, responsible, and easygoing person. I have experience taking care of children, although I have never worked as a professional nanny or lived with a host family before. My experience mostly comes from my own family. After my father passed away, my mother needed to work, so I helped take care of my younger brother while my older siblings continued their studies. There was even a time when I brought my little brother with me to school because we were both still in elementary school. As he grew older, I also had opportunities to take care of my cousins and my niece/nephew. These experiences taught me to be patient, responsible, and attentive to children's needs.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, traveling, going to church, trying new food, and learning new things. I also enjoy spending time with my family and exploring new places.
I understand that families may be busy and one of the reasons for having an Au Pair is to have someone they can trust to care for their children. I would be happy to help with light housework and keep the house organized when needed. I also enjoy cooking, so if you have any food preferences or allergies, or if you are vegetarian, just let me know and I will be happy to prepare something for you.
I want to become an Au Pair because I would like to experience a different culture, improve my English, become more independent, and gain more experience caring for children. I hope to become a helpful and trustworthy part of your family while also sharing my own culture with you.
