I see being an au pair as more than an opportunity to travel. For me, it is a chance to become part of a family, learn from a new culture, and share a little piece of my own. I would love to experience everyday family life—not only the exciting moments, but also the simple ones like having meals together, talking about our day, helping around the house, and creating happy memories.
I am a patient, responsible, and caring person. Because of my teaching background, I am comfortable spending time with children and helping them with their studies, activities, and daily routines. I enjoy listening to children, playing with them, encouraging their creativity, and making them feel heard and valued. I believe children do not only need someone to look after them; they also need someone who can be patient with them and make them feel safe.
I am also willing to help with reasonable household tasks and understand that being part of a family means helping one another. I will always do my best to communicate openly, respect your family's routines and rules, and treat your home with care.
One thing I hope to bring to your family is a little Filipino warmth. In the Philippines, we value kindness, respect, hospitality, and strong family connections. I would be happy to share our food, traditions, stories, and perhaps teach you a few Filipino words along the way! In return, I would be excited to learn your language, traditions, and way of life.
