Introduction
I would describe myself as caring, patient, responsible, and easygoing. I have hands-on experience taking care of children through my own family. I helped take care of my niece when she was little, and she is now 11 years old. I also currently help take care of my 6-month-old nephew while his parents are at work. These experiences have taught me to be patient, attentive, and responsible while making sure children are safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
During my college internships, I also had opportunities to work with children and teenagers. In a school setting, I interacted with students, helped with activities, and prepared materials for them. During my clinical internship, I also worked with children as patients, which allowed me to learn how to communicate with them calmly and patiently and understand that every child has different needs and personalities.
My Psychology background has also helped me develop a better understanding of children’s emotions, behavior, and needs. I believe that being patient, understanding, and creating a safe environment are very important when caring for children.
In my free time, I enjoy singing, listening to music, watching K-dramas and K-pop videos, and spending time with my family. I’m also open to learning new things, trying new activities, and experiencing a different culture.
As an au pair, I hope to become someone your children can feel comfortable around and trust. I’m willing to help with childcare, their daily routines, activities, and household tasks related to the children. I will also respect your family’s routines, rules, and privacy.
I would love to share a little about Filipino culture while also learning about your family and your way of life. I’m looking forward to meeting a kind and welcoming family and building a good relationship based on respect, communication, and trust.
Thank you for taking the time to read my introduction. I hope to get to know you and your family soon!
