My name is Uldaleine, I’m 24 years old, and I’m from the Philippines. I’m excited about the opportunity to become an au pair because I genuinely enjoy being around children and would love to experience living with and becoming part of a family in another country.
I have grown up with a lot of responsibility when it comes to taking care of children. As the eldest among my siblings, I often helped look after my younger brothers and sisters, especially while our mother was working abroad. Because of this, caring for younger children became a natural part of my everyday life from a young age.
I have also had hands-on experience caring for my nieces, nephews, godchildren, and other children in our family and community. My responsibilities have included preparing and feeding them, helping them change clothes, playing with them, keeping them company, and putting them to sleep. I enjoy doing simple activities with children, whether it is playing, talking, reading, or simply spending time with them. I understand that children need patience, attention, affection, and consistency, and I always try to make them feel safe and comfortable around me.
I would describe myself as caring, patient, responsible, and adaptable. I am comfortable helping with children's daily routines and understand that every child has their own personality, needs, and way of doing things. I am also willing to learn from the parents and follow the routines and rules they have established for their children.
What I am looking for in an au pair experience is not only the opportunity to travel, but also the chance to genuinely become part of a family. I would love to learn about your culture, traditions, food, and everyday life while also sharing my own Filipino culture with your family.
