Hi! I’m Kaela from the Philippines. I recently graduated from university, and I’m excited about the possibility of becoming an au pair and experiencing everyday life in another country while being part of a new family.
I’ve always been used to having children around me. I often help take care of my nieces, nephews, and godson, from looking after a baby while my sister takes care of things at home to accompanying the older kids to their activities, helping with homework and school projects, and simply being there while they play. I enjoy being involved in their little routines and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for.
Outside of childcare, I especially enjoy cooking and making meals. I like trying different dishes and sharing food with the people around me. I also enjoy spending time with family, being outdoors, and encouraging children to enjoy activities like sports, art, and playing outside.
What interests me most about being an au pair is the chance to experience family life in a different culture. I’d love to learn your routines, traditions, and way of life while also sharing a little bit of Filipino culture with you. I hope to build a comfortable relationship with your family where we can respect each other, communicate openly, and enjoy our time together.
I’m looking forward to meeting a family who is happy to welcome me into their home, and I’d be just as happy to get to know you and your children.
