Hello, dear host family!

My name is Jeane May, I am 27 years old, and I am currently living in the Philippines. I am a Licensed Professional Teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and five years of teaching experience. Working with children has been an important part of my life, and I truly enjoy helping children learn, grow, and feel comfortable and supported.

I would describe myself as caring, patient, responsible, respectful, hardworking, and easy to get along with. As a teacher, I have learned how to understand children’s individual needs, guide them through different activities, and create a positive and safe environment. I believe that children need not only guidance but also kindness, encouragement, and someone who is willing to listen to them.

Aside from my professional experience, I also have experience caring for my niece and nephew. I enjoy spending time with children, playing with them, helping with their activities, reading with them, and keeping them engaged in fun and meaningful ways. I would be happy to help with age-appropriate childcare, homework, simple learning activities, preparing children for school, playing, and supporting their daily routines.

I am interested in becoming an au pair because I would love to experience a different culture and way of life while becoming part of a welcoming host family. Since I am currently in the Philippines, I will need the appropriate visa or residence permit to legally join a host family abroad.
