Hello! My name is Jordan, but most people call me Diordie. I am 24 years old and from the Philippines.
I am a Senior High School graduate and a caring, responsible, patient, and open-minded person. I am excited about becoming an au pair because I would love to experience life in Europe, learn a new culture and language, and become part of a welcoming family while helping care for their children.
I have experience taking care of my niece and nephew, including during their infancy. Looking after them taught me how much patience, attention, and responsibility children need. I enjoyed helping with their everyday needs, keeping them comfortable and safe, and being there as they grew and discovered new things.
I may not have professional childcare experience yet, but I am willing to learn. I believe being a good au pair is not only about experience—it is also about being trustworthy, patient, responsible, affectionate, and willing to understand each child's individual personality and needs.
I am also interested in learning about European culture and sharing my Filipino culture with my host family. I would love to introduce them to Filipino traditions, food, music, and the warm hospitality that Filipinos are known for.
I am a transgender woman, and being open about who I am is important to me. My journey has taught me resilience, empathy, courage, and understanding. I hope to find a host family that respects diversity and sees me for the person I am. I would love to live in an environment where everyone can feel comfortable being themselves.
I don't currently have a driver's license, so I would prefer a family where driving is not required. I am, however, willing to learn other skills and adapt to the family's routine.
I am looking forward to meeting a kind and respectful family with whom I can build a genuine relationship—not simply as someone who helps around the house, but as a temporary member of the family who can share, learn, and create wonderful memories together.
