Dear family,
my name is Anežka, I am currently 17 years old and I will turn 18 during the summer holidays. I am writing to express my interest in working as an au pair during the summer holidays. My main goal is to improve my English while also supporting your family and taking care of your children.
I am a second-year student at a pedagogical secondary school, specializing in pre-school and after-school education. I already have experience with babysitting as a part-time job, and I also practically take care of my four siblings on a daily basis, which has taught me responsibility, patience and independence.
I am also an active member of a scout group, where I take part in camps and help organize programs and activities for children. In addition, I participate in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) programme, which has helped me develop my skills, responsibility and perseverance. I also sing in a church choir.
I truly enjoy spending time with children and supporting their development. I am caring, reliable and responsible, and I always try to create a safe, positive and friendly environment for them.
In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano, baking, spending time outdoors and reading. I am also happy to help with household tasks, cleaning and everyday responsibilities, depending on your family’s needs.
Although my English is not perfect yet, I am highly motivated to improve and learn. I would be very grateful for the opportunity to become part of your family for a few weeks and gain valuable experience.
