Introduction
Hi! I’m 17 years old and currently taking a year off before starting university. I’m from Canada, and I’m hoping to use this time to experience life in another country, meet new people, learn about a different culture, and become part of a welcoming host family as an au pair.
I have two younger siblings and I’m currently working as a nanny, so by the time I turn 18 in December, I’ll have hands-on childcare experience. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children, whether that’s playing games, doing activities, helping with homework, going outside, or simply keeping them company. I’m patient, responsible, caring, and dependable, and I’d love to become someone your children can feel comfortable and safe around.
I’m also able to drive, making me flexible with school runs, activities, errands, and pickups. I’m happy to help with reasonable household tasks such as tidying, dishes, preparing simple meals, and children’s laundry.
I also love animals, especially dogs, and have grown up with pets.
I’m friendly, easygoing, and adaptable, and I’d love the opportunity to experience life abroad while becoming a genuine and trusted part of a host family.
