My name is Tirzah, I am 20 years old, and I come from Cameroon. I currently live in Douala.
I am a patient, caring, responsible and open-minded young woman who genuinely enjoys spending time with children. I have experience in childcare and have worked with children between the ages of 0 and 8. My responsibilities included preparing meals and snacks, helping with homework, playing with the children, reading stories, assisting with bathing and dressing, and supporting their daily routines.
I also completed one year of nursing training, during which I gained valuable knowledge and practical experience in caring for people. I also have basic first-aid knowledge, which I consider particularly important when looking after children.
Regarding my language skills, English is my native language. I also speak fluent French and hold a B1-ECL certificate in German.
Concerning my visa process, I have already registered for an appointment at the German Embassy in Cameroon. The embassy has confirmed that I will receive my exact appointment date soon, most likely within the next six weeks. I am therefore already preparing for the next steps of my au pair stay and hope that the process will go smoothly once all the necessary documents are available.
My earliest possible starting date would be January 2027, depending on the visa process. I would ideally love to stay with my host family for twelve months.
I would be happy to provide references and answer any further questions you may have. I would be delighted to get to know your family and hopefully become a loving and reliable part of your everyday family life.
