Hello, I'm Cecelia! I grew up playing sports as well as being involved in musicals, piano and voice lessons. My mother is an elementary school special ED teacher, and ever since I was young, I've gone into her classroom and helped out with her students. I worked as a nanny for about 5 years combined with multiple families in different states.
I was a camp counselor for two summers. Supervised up to 6 children ages 14 months to 6 years. Worked with dietary chef to meet children's specific needs. Organized activities to fit the different age groups. Communicated with parents about any developmental or behavioral concerns of a child. During pre-camp and intersections, worked with up to 15 children ages 4 to 15.
I am a certified Personal Care Attendant and worked as a PCA for two years. Traveled from house to house, and at times different facilities, taking care of the elderly and disabled. On a routine basis I assisted with various daily living activities such as meal prep, excercise, transfering, dressing, bathing, light housekeeping, and socialization. I have worked with people anywhere from their 40's to their late 90's, all of whom have their own special needs.
I am also a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician who is trained in emergency care skills, such as defibrillation, airway maintenance, CPR, spinal immobilization, bleeding control, and fracture management. I worked as an EMT prior to moving cross-country.
