I am a warm, caring, responsible and dependable person who genuinely enjoys being around children. I believe that caring for children is about so much more than simply supervising them — it’s about creating a safe, loving and positive environment where they feel comfortable, supported and encouraged to grow.
I am someone who is patient, attentive and organised, and I take responsibility very seriously. I understand how important it is for parents to have someone they can trust completely with their children, and I would always do my best to give you peace of mind while your children are in my care.
I enjoy spending quality time with children and would be happy to be involved in their everyday routines, whether that means helping them get ready in the morning, preparing meals, assisting with homework, playing games, doing creative activities, reading, going outdoors, or simply being there for them when they need someone to talk to. I also understand the importance of maintaining routines, boundaries and house rules, and I would make an effort to follow your parenting style and respect the way you choose to raise your children.
I am also comfortable helping with light household duties related to the children, such as keeping their spaces organised, preparing their meals and making sure their belongings are taken care of. I believe in being proactive rather than waiting to be asked to help.
Professionally, I have experience working in a demanding environment as an Executive Assistant to the CEO of a mining company. This experience taught me to be extremely organised, trustworthy, discreet, punctual and able to handle responsibility. I am comfortable managing schedules, communicating professionally, prioritising tasks and remaining calm when things become busy. I believe these skills would also be incredibly valuable in an au pair role.
I am also very comfortable using technology and Microsoft Office, and I am someone who learns quickly and adapts well to new environments and routines.
Most importantly, I would love to build a genuine and respectful relationship with your family. I understand that inviting an au pair into your home requires a great deal of trust, and I would never take that trust for granted. My goal would be to become someone your children feel safe and happy around, while also being a reliable source of support for you as parents.
