Family's Introduction to Au Pair
Hello,
I am a 36-year-old single mom that just relocated from Texas to Washington and have just started a new job. I’m seeking before and after school care for my six-year-old son either at your own place or at my home if needed. This job does require transporting my son to school and home from school so you would need your own car. This type of character the district is 680 a month and I’m hoping to stay around that budget but that program is currently full. The job would just be a couple hours in the morning and then transferring him to school before it starts at 915am and then picking him up when school ends at 3:45 PM and either taking him back to your place or to my home and I get back from work around 5:45 PM. On days I work from home I would end at 5 PM and you could leave then. Wednesdays are early release from school so you will need to pick him up at 1:30 PM and take care of him until I get home from work or finish work from home depending on the day. I don’t need somebody with many years of experience, I’m looking for someone who’s dependable, likes kids, will consistently get him to school on time, and can work with my budget. What you decide to do during your time with him is honestly up to you. I’ll give you the freedom to decide that I’m not going to make you do homework with him if you don’t want to or do certain activities. There’s a park in our complex if you end up working from here that you can bring him to if you wanna take him to do something that cost money I’ll pay for it really just whatever you’re wanting to do with the time you spend with them, my main priority is finding somebody that likes him and that he likes so that he’s always comfortable with me leaving him with that person. I’ll also have additional opportunities for babysitting him on weekends sometimes if you’re available and want those additional hours for the additional hours, I’ll pay you 18 an hour but for the before and after school care, I’m hoping I can do that more on a monthly rate, but I can pay you weekly. I do work remotely on some days and you would be able to end your shift early without it affecting your monthly pay on those days if I get off of work at five. I’m open to offers on the monthly rate, but I’m also limited by my current income. There may also be days when my partner gets home early and is able to release you early again in the situation. It would not reduce your monthly rate you will still be paid for all the hours I expected you to be available. I appreciate all interest and information about yourselves and why you think you would be a good candidate for this position. I’m not looking for someone with 1000 years of experience. I’m looking for a good person that would be a good fit for my child.

Job Description
I need someone with their own car. I would prefer if you had a place I could drop my kid off around 7:30am each school day and you need to drop them off at school before 9:15 AM. I would then need you to pick them up at 3:45 PM from school and I would be able to pick them up around 5:45 PM after I get off work while I prefer you have your own place I can drop them off, if you do not I am open to you watching them at my home. I do work from home some days that’s why it’s preferable not to have him at the house, but if I find someone that’s a good fit, I’m not going to turn them down because of this. If you work from my home, you will be able to leave at five on most days that I’m working from home and it won’t affect your monthly pay. Also, there may be some days that you’re able to leave earlier than that if my partner gets home from work early and is able to watch my son. Take him to do something if he doesn’t have additional work or errands to run. Again in these instances, it would not deduct from your pay. The before and after school care program through his school is full and cost about 680 a month other places I’m looking into Dont transport to his school or run around $1000 a month which I honestly cannot afford. I’m looking for someone that can work within my budget and then if you want additional hours, I can use you for occasional babysitting too. While I’m trying to stay around 680 a month I am flexible and open to offers, especially if you would be able to pick him up from my house in the morning and drop them off at my house in the afternoon when I’m home from work.
