Au Pair's Message to Families

Dearest Family, I’m Ronafe , 25 years old, single and I’m from the Philippines. I am hardworking, patient, understanding and trustworthy person. I studied and graduated and earned a diploma certificate of Computer System and Design Programming Major in System Analysis and Design. I’m happy to say that I finished my tertiary education through the hard work of my parents who work as a farmer (my father) and a market vendor (my mother). I’m the eldest among seven siblings, as the eldest I have to help my parents in increasing our earnings for our everyday needs. I applied for Taiwan last 2007 and worked as a factory worker but my salary was not adequate to support enough my family here in the Philippines then. Last May my two year contract ends and have to be back here. At the moment I am looking for any kind of job that would help me and my family. Doing household chores is not a problem because my parents taught us how to keep our house as clean as possible; they brought us to be responsible. I laundry clothes every weekend and iron them together with my younger brother. I also love to cook for the whole family. I also wash the dishes when my younger siblings are out for school. I also experienced taking care of my little cousins when their parents are away for work. When they are with me I read them stories and inculcate to them the values that the stories convey to its readers. I make it sure that they learn something from me as I learn from them too. I also love to sing, listening music, watching television, chat with my friends and surfing the net. I’d like to be an aupair mainly to help my family and loved ones with all their needs. I want also to experience life with other people of different traditions, culture and values and at the same time to share my own unique culture too. I want also to help my nephews, nieces and cousins also so that they can go to school and have a bright future and by that they too could help their own families. To my future family, with joy and hope, I promise to do my very best. I will take good care of your family and the trust you will give me. I will be responsible enough to the tasks assigned to me.
