Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Family, My name is Morgane , I am twenty years old, and I live in the South of France, in a city which is called Valence. I am 1m72 tall and I weight 58 kilos. I am energic and I very sociable practically with children. Creativity and responsibility is part of my personality and I know that it’s going to be one my most important tool of every day’s life. My father is named Didier, he is a waiter. My mother, Joelle, is a nurse. I have two brothers and one sister. They are 26, 24 and 18 years old and their names are Benoit, Emeline and Nicolas. My entire family live very close why we see each other often. We are all really close. I have done a degree in science. Right now I am in second year “Bts” in management. I alternately go 1 week at school and 2 weeks in a firm. The firm is a slimming center, I usually do commercial things. I am from a numerous family and I used to be with a lot of children. I think that’s what gave me very early a real confidence with children. I like sharing nice moments with them, playing and taking care of them. I have ever had some experience as a babysitter. From 2005 to 2007, I looked after 2 little girls: Coline (7 years old), Alma (3 years old) some weekends and one little boy Médine (1 years old) during my day off. When the weather was nice, we played football, go for a walk or cycling. When it was cold, we played on computer, doing painting or invented different games. Moreover, now I have my driver’s license. So, I can bring children to the swimming pool, to the ice rink or to their various activities or their meeting. The children and my-self can also discover museums or important places. Finally, I think I am responsible and I would do my best to ensure that nothing goes wrong with your children. In my return I hope will make a B.A. (license) in human resource and I think my experience in Au pair will be a real opportunity for my studies and my future work life. I have always loved children and I think that it is the most important thing. I really want to be part of your family and I am very motivated. To me, working inside a real American family is the best way to discover and understand a foreign culture. Thanks to that experience I would be pleased to exchange our different cultures.
