Hi there, future host family!

My name is Samantha. I’m 23 years old, born in California and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I am so excited for the opportunity to become a part of your family, help out around the house, and be a great big sister figure to your kids!

For the past three years, working with children has been my passion. I spent two years as a tutor and leader for an after-school program called Safekey, where I helped create a safe, engaging environment for kids to learn. Currently, I work as an instructional aide at a local elementary school. Combined with my personal experience as an older sister and a babysitter, I have looked after children ranging from 5 to 13 years old.
If I had to describe my personality, I would say I am highly organized, naturally funny, and a calm, reflective person. I pride myself on being a steady presence—someone who gathers their thoughts and handles situations with a level head, which is super helpful when managing a busy day.

In my free time, I love traveling with friends, exploring new cafes, trying new foods, and catching up on anime. I also love being near the water, whether it’s a beach or a lake.

Apart from also speaking English I can also speak Spanish due to my Mexican heritage!

Ultimately, I want to be an Au Pair because I genuinely want to be useful and look out for the youth. I want to use my experience with children to make a positive impact and provide dedicated, reliable help to a family who needs it.
