I hope you and your family are doing well. My name is Kyla Monique but you can call me Kyla, I am 23 years old, and I came from the Philippines. Thank you for taking time to read my letter.

I finished my 2 yr Bachelor of Science in Nursing in the Philippines then pursued my studies in Melbourne, Australia for almost 3 yrs. While studying in Australia my first job was a Child-care Support Worker and has some various experiences in Caregiving and Kitchen-Assistant. As I finished my studies, I decided to pursue exploring different culture around Europe & found being an Au-Pair can give me the chance to do it. Now, I am excited about the opportunity of becoming your Au-Pair and getting to know your family.

I am the youngest of three siblings and came from a very close-knit family. Growing up, I learned to be caring, respectful, responsible, and supportive of others. Family has always been very important to me, and I enjoy spending time with my loved ones. I have
a particularly close relationship with my sister and brother, and we share a strong bond built on love, trust, and support.

I would describe myself as kind, patient, responsible, polite, and easy to get along with. I enjoyed helping others and creating a positive environment around me. I am someone who is willing to learn, adapt, and take on new experiences with an open mind.

I want to become an au-pair because I genuinely enjoy being part of a family environment and caring for children. I believe that being an au-pair is more than just a cultural exchange, it is an opportunity to build meaningful relationships, learn from one another, and grow as a person. I am excited about the chance to experience European culture, learn more about your way of life, and share my own culture with your family.

In my free time, I enjoy baking, watching movies, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new places. I am a curious person who enjoys learning about different cultures and meeting new people.

As you au-pair, I will do my best to be responsible, trustworthy, and caring in addition to your family. I understand that welcoming someone into your home is a big decision, especially if it is your first time hosting an au-pair. I want you to know that I will respect your family’s values, routines, and privacy while doing my best to support you and care
for your children.
