Au Pair's Message to Families

Hello, my name is Ebony and I'm looking forward to meeting a family such as yours. I have over seven years of childcare experience and genuinely enjoy being both a responsible childcare provider and creative, fun friend for your child(ren). My belief is that parents hire someone with whom they can trust to both keep their children safe and to also keep them active and involved. This translates into trips to museums, parks, fun, child-focused civic events and arts & crafts. Family designed schedules are also important and I'm eager to be flexible with a schedule that works for you and your child(ren). Finally, until recently I have worked in the non-profit and corporate sectors in Manhattan and I believe this experience has helped to increase my level of professionalism in all areas. I will be moving to London in early December 2008 and would like to take on a part-time au pair position with a loving family. I will be working towards my Master's degree in the fall of 2009; however, if all goes well, I am happy to design my academic schedule with this position in mind.
