Nanny's Message to Families

I approach childcare in an open and caring way while also leaving room for loving discipline, when necessary. I like to get to know the child on a personal level (when possible) so that we can both develop a trust in each other. I try to help the child understand that I am first and foremost there to help care for them and help them grow, but I would also like to be their friend. I am an energetic, creative individual who enjoys helping kids learn and learning from kids. I enjoy taking care of children, being able to provide security, comfort, direction and discipline during the time that the time that the parents may not be able to be home. Caring for children is most rewarding for me when I can see that they are able to safely enjoy life and have fun, knowing that I have helped to provide that atmosphere.
