Au Pair/Nanny job description

Fun, active family in Colorado seeks full time, live in Au Pair to care for our two children during the day. We currently have a Thai Au Pair who has lived we us for nearly two years. We love her dearly, but her Visa expires in August and she will move back to Thailand. We are looking for someone who is kind, caring and responsible. We have a five year old daughter who will attend Kindergarten this Fall. We also have a two year old daughter who will attend pre-school two days a week in the Fall. Responsibilities include: taking care of our two year daughterduring the day, driving our older daughter to/from school, washing children's clothing, light house work for children and light cooking. (We have a housekeeper that cleans the house.) Work hours will be during the day with occassional evening work. We also ask our Au Pair to travel with us and work on vacation in places like Florida and North Carolina.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

We are a fun, energetic, athletic family seeking a full time, live in Au pair to help take care of our two daughters. both parents work full time and we have two beautiful children (ages 5 and 2). Our oldest daughter is looking forward to attending kindergarten this fall. She loves to go to ballet lessons, swim, travel and do art projects! Our two year old daughter is a beautiful, sweet and kind little girl. She has good manners and is learing how to say "sawasdeeka." We are looking for an Au pair who can speak good english. Our two year old daughter is just learning how to speak so strong english skills are required. Our current Au pair is wonderful and we will miss her dearly. She has lived with us for nearly two years, but must go home to thailand because her visa will expire. We love the thai culture and have traveled to thailand several times. We live near the mountains and enjoy traveling, skiing, hiking and having many people over for dinner parties. We have family near by and often travel to fun places over the holidays. we provide excellent live-in accomodations including a private room and bathroom. TV, computer, cell and car are provided. We also have a home fitness center and a movie room. We are seeking a Au pair that has strong driving skills. n A typical day may include: getting both girls ready in the morning (fix hair, dress, breakfast) and drive older daughter to school. playing with younger daughter at home, playing at the park and light cooking for the family. there are several thai Au pairs that live in our neighborhood and our current Au pair enjoys shopping, traveling and dinners with theas a good asian market and a thai temple. We are seeking a kind and loving Au pair that will take excellent care of our daughters. We welcome the opportunity to share new expirences including family outings.
