| Dear Host Family
My name is Izabelle and lives in a city called Linkoping in middle Sweden. I hope to introduce myself to you with the best of my ability within this letter, and I wish my qualifications and personality will positively shine true to you!
When I heard about the opportunity given at the age of mine, several years ago, I ever since knew that I wanted to embrace a year as an Au Pair overseas – since it involves those things I truly love – to explore and experience new places and things and to care for children, to see them develop new skills and as persons during time.
I live in a warm and loving home with my mother, her partner, my sister 16, younger brother 18 years old and our charming dog Milo. My older brother, 21, doses nowadays lives and educates in south Sweden. Me and my siblings live every second weekend at our father. I am fortunate to have close relationships with both my parents and siblings, and to have two warmhearted homes where I’m always welcome.
I would describe myself as a happy, positive and caring girl. I am always keen on learning and experience new things, as well as patient and responsible.
I have always been surrounded by children. Let’s begin with my younger siblings, whom I love to spend time with and have always been giving a lending hand and played with ever since they were born. When younger, we often pretended to be wild horses, baked chocolate cookies and even wore stretchy clothes that we filled with pillows to have hilarious wrestling games. I often read books to them and helped out to solve different disagreements. Nowadays I often help out with homework, out door activities and sometimes we cook together.
At times I baby-sit an energetic little boy named Kasper, 6 years old. We truly have a lot of fun together and he loves to make sand castles, cookies and play with cars in the sandbox or by the sea, where hours of fun quickly pas by. When playing videogames Kasper and I often share one remote control and it is truly adorable when he filled with excitements tells how to cooperate and collect scores the best way (except this Kasper has no mayor hindrance in life with a undeveloped hand since birth). We both share an interest to music, and its unique capacity to deliver funny rhythms and laughs when putting on a CD. I often read books to him and sometimes I cook and put him to bed.
Elvira and Matilda are two girls at the age of 7 and 13, and we have many memories together as I known them since their birth. My family has a summer house in the country by the sea, as well as the **** family. At least twice weekends a month we gather up to play by the sea, go for picnics, watch movies and have loads of different outdoor activities. Sometimes I help Matilda with homework, and I am including writing exercises (often to write numbers) with a result of learning in a entertaining way and the stars earlier resembling scores written by Elvira has nowadays turned out to almost perfect numbers!
I adore children, among other things since they are always saying such honest things, what they actually think and feel. That frankness can easily bring me a warm and great smile! I also admire their curiosity and playfulness and very much their energy and lust for learning.
My wonderful friends are a very important part of my life, as well as my family. I am grateful to have them and we always have a great time; whether it is to just relax and talk, have a walk, cook delightful meals, go for a road trip or even abroad. I love to attend social occasions and consider my self as a person who easily connects with new people, and environments. It has always been important to me to feel fit and healthy. To generally be active has always been devoted to my interest as well as cooking, dancing and music. I appreciate adventure and gladly travel a lot. Furthermore I am looking forward to share and find new interests in USA. Above all, I love to laugh and have fun!
I am used to embrace responsible, and your child or children’s safety and happiness will always be my top priority.
I would love to be a part of your family, to learn more about your culture and lifestyle and at the same time have the opportunity to share my culture with you. Since my graduation I am happy to say that I have no hindrance to do what I truly love; to learn about, try and experience new things and to take care of children and to be a part of their upbringing and development.
I am an honest, hardworking and frisky girl. I am sure I will be a great contribution to your family.
I wish your family will choose me as your Au Pair and trust me taking care of your children in the very near future. I can not wait till I hear about your family!
Yours sincerely
Izabelle |
