Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Family; My name is Jessica, and I am a 20 year old Kinesiology student at I currently studying in my 3rd year of my bachelors program, and I am seeking a family to work for this summer from the end of april until the beginning of september (I would love to stay longer however I must return to school in the fall), I visited Toronto for the first time last summer and absolutely fell in love with it, which is why it is my preferred location. I am a VERY enthusiastic, and outgoing person, who is very involved in my community/school. I was the Vice President of my school's student council in high school, and played on the Sr. Girls soccer, and basketball teams. Currently I am actively involved in the Dal Dance society, I am the head student athletic trainer for the Mens Basketball team, and an employee of my school's intramural program. I have been babysitting and taking care of young children for the past approximately 7 years, and have enjoyed every minute of it! Last summer I had the AMAZING experience of traveling to Uganda, Africa where I volunteered in a primary school/help to construct a dorm for orphan children. Aside from the childcare work, I also teach ballet lessons to four and five year old children, and waitress part-time at a restaurant. In my first year as a student I worked at our gym's "funzone" which required me to supervise children ages 1 - 12 on an indoor play facility. As you can see I am a very busy person, and I am looking for a loving, and friendly family, who is easy going, and enjoys the outdoors.
