Au Pair's Message to Families

I'm originally from Pennsylvania and am the 3rd of 6 children. I have 3 beautiful nieces and 1 adorable nephew with another nephew on the way. I have a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing. I currently reside in Dublin with my Dutch partner. I was working as an accountant until recently when I lost my job. I am looking to work with children until June-August 2010, as I plan to start a PGCE in Secondary English in London in Sept 2010. I have spent 7 months previously working as an au pair. I spent 4 months in Ballsbridge minding 3 boys who were 1 month, 2 years and 4 years when I started. They were very energetic and loved rugby. It's was fantastic. I spent the other 3 months in The Hague, The Netherlands minding 1 boy and 2 girls who were 5 years, 3 years and 2 years. They loved arts and crafts and being outside. We spent lots of time at the playground. I've been in Ireland for over a year now, and I love it here. I love children, sports, being outdoors, travelling, learning, languages, reading, writing and a variety of other things. I'm always looking for something new. I'm looking for a loving family with amazing kids to work for. I'm looking for a live-out position with mainly daytime hours, preferably ending around 5pm as often as possible as I would like to continue volunteering. I'm currently living in Dublin 7.
