Au Pair/Nanny job description

Dear Aupair, Maurits & Willem, 2 boys of 3 and 4 are looking for an enthousiastic, joyfull and helpful aupair. (-26 years old) She will help in the morning preparing the kids for school, take them to school and get them from school in the afternoon. She will play with us, make drawings, read books. We are looking for an aupair that takes iniatives, that can take decisions on her own and can be strict however polite with the children. We live very close to schools, shops, so a driving licence is not needed but welcomed. However, our aupair must be able to drive a bicycle and be able to swim, as we like to go swimming. We ask our aupair to babysit for the 2 boys now and then (couple of times a month).

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

We are a family that treats our aupair with respect, we expect our aupair to feel part of the family, however must be discrete as well. We prefer an aupair with some experience (eg in the NL, so that she already understands some Dutch). Our children also understand English, as our previous aupair was English speaking. We expect our aupair to have a good knowledge of English or being English speaking. If you have taking Dutch or French lessons before, this is surely a plus for us ! We have friends that have aupairs as well, so you will be able to get into contact with other aupairs as well. We will give your the opportunity to go the Dutch lessons as well. This makes the integration and being part of the family easier. We live in a town close to Brussels, the belgian capital. We live close to the underground station and busses. A cinemacomplex is very close as well, so you have the opportunity to go and see films regularly. If you believe you are the right aupair for our famil, please contact us.
