Hello! We are a family of four. My husband is a realtor, and I'm a marketing director. We are looking to find the perfect au pair match to join our family and help us take care of our two kids, Blane age 6, and Audrey age 4. We are a very good family. Our kids are very good children -- they do not fight often and they actually listen pretty well. I would not consider us a loud or super social family -- we are a bit more on the private and quiet side, but we are active and enjoy weekends doing things together and little trips. We live in the town of Los Gatos, CA () which is 20 minutes away from Santa Cruz beach and one hour away from San Francisco. It is a town we love because it is safe and beautiful and near lots of places we like to go. Right now we are looking for a au pair because we want to lower the stress of taking kids to school and keeping them active and having dual careers is hard to do that while earning a living. We hope to find someone who is nurturing, mature, responsible, and capable of taking initiative. We have a new puppy (a french bulldog) so we want someone who is comfortable with pets. We also want someone who is good at swimming, and knows how to supervise kids by our pool. We want someone who has good English speaking skills but other languages too is ok and welcome. We will want to screen candidates over Skype video calls. If you are an extension Au Pair in the U.S. already we actually prefer that.

We're looking for a fun and loving au pair who is super responsible. We prefer an extension Au Pair, someone who is already in the U.S. We live in the Bay Area of California in a town called Los Gatos. It's a beautiful community and we live in a nice house with a great neighborhood. This role will be between 35 to 40 hours per week. There is built -in flexibility to accommodate your evenings and weekends, and the kids attend school in the morning/early afternoon.

The job description is as follows for our two children, ages 4 and 6: • Fun activities at home and away (e.g. trip to library, tennis at the park, tag in the backyard) • Help with homework (particular focus on reading and writing and problem solving) • Transportation to and from school and activities (e.g. soccer practice) • Meals/snacks for kids • Arts & crafts • Household tidiness (clean up after meals, toy clean up, kids room clean up) • Kids clothes laundry • bath time • swimming • ‘always-on’ supervision • Regular text message updates when away from home

It’s most important to us to have someone who is engaged and loving, and can help support our kids progress academically and socially. Our kids are both very fun, active, smart, and very affectionate kids.

We have a very nice separate room for the au pair with privacy since it is on the opposite wing of our house from where we sleep. Our backyard is a paradise and its huge w/ a swimming pool. We are active on the weekends - parks, beaches, outdoor stuff.
