Family's Introduction to Au Pair
We are a warm and busy family living in Woodstock, Maryland, looking for an experienced and responsible au pair to join our family as part of a two-au-pair team.
We will soon be a family of seven, with five children: a newborn expected in January 2027 and children ages 7, 12, 17, and 18. Because caring for our newborn will be an important part of the role, we are looking for someone who is infant-qualified and has meaningful hands-on experience caring for newborns.
The ideal candidate should be mature, patient, organized, clean, dependable, and have an excellent work ethic. Strong driving skills are essential, with at least one year of regular driving experience and a safe driving record.
Responsibilities will include:
Providing attentive and loving care for our newborn
Supervising the younger children and helping them follow their daily schedules
Ensuring homework and age-appropriate responsibilities are completed
Driving the children to and from school and activities
Preparing simple meals or snacks for the children
Cleaning up after the children and keeping their rooms and common areas organized
Caring for the children when we are not at home
Communicating and coordinating well with the other au pair and our family
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys caring for children and would like to become a trusted and valued member of our family.
