About Us

We are a loving, energetic family of four living in the vibrant Austin area. We have two wonderful children—our 8-year-old son, who is curious, creative, and always eager to learn new things, and our 3-year-old daughter, who is playful, adventurous, and full of energy. They both love spending time outdoors, doing arts and crafts, and engaging in imaginative play.

We also share our home with a few pets—a sweet dog and a couple of cats who are part of the family. Our home is busy and lively, but full of love and laughter.

Our Daily Life

We are both hardworking parents with busy schedules. My husband’s work keeps him on the go, and I also work full-time, which is why we’re looking for an au pair to help us balance the demands of our home and family life.

During the week, our mornings start early as we get the kids ready for school. While they are at school, our days are focused on work and household tasks. In the evenings, we enjoy family dinners and winding down together before bedtime.

Weekends are more relaxed, giving us time to enjoy family activities or explore the Austin area. We also value downtime, which gives everyone a chance to recharge and enjoy personal time.

Typical Responsibilities and Schedule

As part of our family, your main responsibilities will involve helping with the kids and managing light household tasks during the day. Here’s an overview:
• Morning Routine: Help get our 8-year-old and 3-year-old ready for school, pack their lunches, and either walk them to school, accompany them to the school bus, or join me for drop-off.
• Daytime Tasks: While the kids are at school, focus on household tasks such as cleaning, tidying up, cooking meals for the family, and managing basic pet care (scooping cat litter and cleaning up after the dog).
• Evening Support: Occasionally assist with dinner prep or light clean-up after meals when needed.

You will have Saturdays and Sundays off to spend time with friends or relax. Transportation for your outings can be arranged—I’m happy to drop you off locally, but return transportation would be your responsibility.

Your role is to help keep our home running smoothly and provide loving care for our children and pets. We aim to create a positive and respectful environment where everyone feels valued!
