Family's Introduction to Au Pair
Hello Au Pairs,
We are a family of four: Tina (host mom), Alok (host dad), Jaiden (4.5), Alara (currently 14 months). We live in Southern California close to many beaches, shopping, hiking and attractions. Alok's family lives in Santa Cruz, CA and Tina's family lives in Las Vegas, NV. We are a fun-loving family - Alok enjoys the outdoors, sports and playing tennis. Tina enjoys working out, eating healthy (during the week!), and testing new recipes. On weekends we like to go to the beach, spend time with ours kids, and try and do new/fun activites. Jaiden, our son, is a very sweet boy who loves pop culture and pretending to be a teacher! He makes us constantly laugh by the things he says (he has a lot of personality and questions). Alara is entering toddler mode (if you know you know).
Both of our families are from India, but we grew up here. We would love to share aspects of our culture with an Au Pair while also learning about theirs. We really enjoy traveling and have gone to many countries all the world. Fun fact: Alok is conversational in both portguese and spanish!

Job Description
Hi Au Pairs,
We are looking for an au pair to join our family in sunny Southern California. We are looking for someone to primarily care for our daughter, who will be 5 months old when we welcome an au pair. Our son who is 3.5 is in school full time (occassional help with him only, during school closures or seldomnly). Duties include, bottle washing/preparation, diapering, following a specific daily schedule for the baby, preparing solids, feeding solids, keeping playroom neat and tidy and staying on top of the toys in the playroom, laundry for children.
Private bedroom (like a mini apartment), private washer/dryer/bathroom + kitchenette is included with your own private entrace to your bedroom from outside. Bedroom is equipped with your own TV (netflix, hulu, amazon prime), desk for studying, large closet. Cleaners come every other week. Will pay for stipend + uber credit + phone bill included.
