Hello, Dear Host Family!

My name is Deciree. I am 24 years old. I am from the Philippines. I am a first-time Au Pair applicant, and I am excited about the possibility of starting this new chapter with a welcoming host family.

I want to become an Au Pair because I would love to explore different cultures, experience new sides of the world, chase new possibilities, and grow both personally and professionally. For me, this is more than simply traveling to another country. I want to experience everyday family life, learn about your culture and traditions, and build genuine connections with my host family and local community.

I consider myself friendly, open-minded, responsible, adaptable, and willing to learn. I understand that every family has its own routines, values, and expectations, and I am happy to listen, communicate openly, accept guidance, and adapt to your family's way of life.

A Little About Me

I am a Cum Laude graduate of Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from Batangas State University – JPLPC – Malvar Campus. My hospitality background has helped me develop strong communication, customer service, organizational, and people skills. I have experience in food and beverage, customer relations, and business operations, which have taught me to be responsible, attentive, and comfortable working with different kinds of people.

I enjoy cooking, especially Asian cuisine, and I have coffee-making/barista and bartending skills. I would be happy to share Filipino food, recipes, and traditions with my host family while also learning about the food and traditions that are special to your culture.

During my free time, I enjoy jogging and walking, volleyball, badminton, arts and crafts, and digital design. I enjoy being active and creative, and I would love to share some of these interests through fun and age-appropriate activities with children.

Why This Journey Matters to Me

I want to embark on this journey to experience different sides of the world while continuing to grow as a person and as a professional. I hope that becoming an Au Pair will help me build a deeper connection with the local community and culture with the support of my host family.

I don't see this simply as a job or a stepping-stone. I see it as part of my mission in life—to learn, connect, grow, and create meaningful memories with people from different backgrounds.

My long-term goal is to build an international career in the global hospitality industry. I believe the Au Pair experience can help me become more independent, culturally aware, adaptable, and confident while strengthening my ability to communicate and connect with people from different cultures.

What I Hope to Bring to Your Family

As a first-time Au Pair, I know I still have much to learn, but I am coming into this experience with an open heart, a curious mind, and a genuine willingness to learn.

I hope to be someone your children can feel comfortable with, support their daily routines, encourage their interests, and spend meaningful time with. I also hope to share my Filipino culture while being equally excited to learn from yours.

I believe a good Au Pair–host family relationship is built through trust, respect, communication, patience, and understanding. I am looking forward to finding a family where we can learn from one another, share experiences, and create wonderful memories together.
