Dear my future host family,
I am Raya, an Indonesian girl who highly passionate with learning and experiencing new culture. I’m an easygoing, patient, responsible, calm and reliable person who genuinely enjoys spending time with children. Becoming an au pair is not only an opportunity for me but also a meaningful way to reconnect with something that has always been close to my heart: create moments with children.
Caring for children has always been a natural part of my life. As the eldest daughter, I have taking care of my three younger siblings throughout the years. From helping with homework and daily routines to simply being someone they can rely on, this experience has taught me responsibility, and I love of how I always captivated by children unique personality.
Besides my family experience, I have also worked with children through volunteer and educational activities. In 2019, I volunteered in a riverside community in Yogyakarta, a small city in Indonesia, where I taught children about environmental awareness, sanitation, and healthy habits through fun and interactive activities. During my uni community service program, I also taught English to elementary school children in a rural village where access to foreign language education was limited. I enjoyed helping them building their confidence, and showing them that learning could be exciting and open doors to future opportunities.
So, I hope that I could find an open-minded and kind family that could accept & treat me as well as a part of their own family.
