Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile. My name is Emmanuella, and I am from Nigeria, where English is the official language and my primary language of communication. I am a caring, patient, responsible, and trustworthy person with a genuine love for children. Becoming an au pair is more than just an opportunity for me—it is a chance to become part of a family, experience a new culture, and make a positive difference in the lives of children while growing personally.
I have valuable childcare experience as both a nanny and a teacher, caring for children of different ages. My responsibilities have included preparing meals, assisting with homework, planning educational and creative activities, maintaining daily routines, helping with personal hygiene, providing emotional support, and ensuring children are always safe, happy, and well cared for. I enjoy creating fun learning experiences through storytelling, arts and crafts, games, music, and outdoor activities. Seeing children smile, learn, and grow brings me genuine happiness.
Beyond childcare, I am happy to help with light household duties related to the children, such as keeping their rooms tidy, doing children's laundry, organizing toys, and helping maintain a clean and comfortable environment for the family.
I do not currently drive, but I am open to learning in the future if necessary. I also have limited experience with pets. While I may be a little nervous around unfamiliar animals at first, I usually become comfortable with them over time. Although I am not formally certified in first aid, I have basic knowledge of emergency response, including chest compressions, and I know how to clean and dress minor wounds. I am always willing to learn new skills that will help me provide the best care possible.
I understand that welcoming someone from another country into your home is a big decision. Trust is something that is earned, and I know it can feel difficult to place that trust in someone you've never met. All I ask is the opportunity to show you who I truly am.
