Hello, my name is Alessandro. I have extensive experience in childcare, both professionally and personally, and I am confident in my ability to support and care for children in a warm, attentive, and responsible manner.
Over the years, I have gained hands-on experience in babysitting, after-school programs, and summer camps across Italy, Haiti, and Paraguay. I have worked with children of various ages and backgrounds, including those with physical and developmental disabilities. Specifically, I have cared for children with Down Syndrome, ADHD, and other motor disabilities.
In addition to my professional background, I have personally raised four children, one of whom had muscular dystrophy. This life experience has taught me invaluable lessons about care, resilience, and the importance of creating a nurturing and structured environment where children can thrive.
I hold a Diploma as a Childcare Assistant and am DBS checked, ensuring full compliance with child safeguarding standards. I also hold the HACCP Food Hygiene certificate and the BLSD (Basic Life Support, Defibrillator, and CPR) certification.
I am fluent in Italian, English, French, Spanish, and Haitian Creole. Now that my children are grown, I am willing to relocate and ready to dedicate myself fully to supporting another family.
Recently, I worked as the coordinator of a children’s summer camp at a center equipped with a swimming pool, tennis courts, and padel facilities. I love writing (I’ve published seven children’s books), reading, and baking—especially cakes! I even created a children’s book featuring cake recipes and conducted related workshops in schools.
In my free time, I enjoy sports such as swimming, skiing, soccer, and running. I am passionate about cooking, especially making cakes, homemade pasta, pizza, and traditional Italian recipes.
