My name is Joyabigail, and I am so excited to find a family I can truly call my home away from home. I have a genuine love for children — their laughter, curiosity, and creativity bring me so much joy, and caring for them is something I take both seriously and wholeheartedly.

I am comfortable looking after two children, giving each child the individual attention, warmth, and care they deserve.

One of my favourite things to do with kids is get creative! I love drawing, arts and crafts — think painting, collages, DIY projects, and everything in between. I also enjoy the outdoors, and love taking children on hikes and swimming trips. I truly believe that a mix of creative and outdoor play nurtures imagination, builds confidence, and keeps children healthy and curious about the world around them.

One thing that is very important to me is culture. I am genuinely eager to immerse myself in your family's traditions, customs, and way of life — that cultural exchange is a big part of why I chose this path. For this reason, I am best suited to families who actively embrace and practice their own culture, as I would love to learn from you firsthand.

I also want to be transparent about what I am looking for in a placement, so that we are the right fit for one another. I work best in homes where there is mutual respect, clear and realistic expectations, and a safe environment. I am passionate about children who are being guided with love and consistent boundaries — families who value good manners and take an active role in shaping their children's behaviour. I am not the right fit for households with more than three children all under the age of ten, or environments where rudeness and a lack of discipline are left unaddressed.
