Dear Host Family
So, my name is Marie Joy and you can call me “MJ” for short. I am 25 years old and my birthday is December 29, 1999. I’m from the beautiful island and valley of fun, Cagayan Valley . I have completed my 4 years bachelor’s degree in college on August 2022 as Financial Management in one of the University in our town named University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao. After that, I looked for a work. And now, I am currently working in a Private Hospital in our Capital City far from my Parents hometown as a Finance Officer. 
 
My Parent’s name is Eduardo (father) and Rosemarie (mother) and their ages are 55 & 47. My father is a farmer while my mother is a housewife. I have 2 older sisters and 1 younger brother their ages are 32, 28 and 22 years old and they already have their own family. My oldest sister is a Public Teacher and have a girl daughter ages 1 year old, my second sister is living with me in the city because she’s also working in a Private Hospital as a Cashier but different in mine, and we’re both working in different Hospital. She has a son, 6 years old of age. While my younger brother is working in a Hardware as a Driver, he has a son too ages 3 years old. 
 
I have experienced with taking care of children since all of my siblings already have a child. There’s no events or occasions without me especially for the kids. Actually, I am very close to them. One time, i went home for vacation they’re running towards me when I stand at our housedoor and they kissed me & hug me tight, they’re very sweet kids. I love them so much. I am a motivated and detail-oriented individual offering a deep passion for kids and strong attention to safety. Safety is always my top priority and I am committed for that. 
 
When there parents are busy. I was tasked to accompanied them go to school after that I will cook for their favorite food, teach them with their homeworks and especially teaching them good manners always. Taking bath for them.  Clean their mess especially their many toys and their beds. Play with them and also put them to sleep. Aside from taking care of kids. I love helping household chores also, to lessen the work of my mother like wash the dishes, do laundry, buy groceries and clean the house. I can also ride a bike, can swim, nature lover and  has a patience with kids. I believe I can handle my job as au pair because as an aunt to my nephews I will provide high quality physical and emotional care and assistance. 
Lastly, I want to work as an au pair so that I can meet new people, gain more language proficiency and experience something new especially the culture. In addition, I want to gain experience living overseas and strengthen my independence by handling my responsibilities without my family's help because I am a optimistic person, adventurous, responsible and trustworthy.
