Introduction
As a private tutor and learning support for special needs, I performed the following tasks;
-Provide private instructions to an individual and small group of students to improve social interaction , education and communication
-Assist students homework,projects, test preparation research and other academic needs.
-Work with students to help them understand key concepts especially to those learnt in class.
-Prepare lessons, assign and correct homework.
-Attend school and class meetings,collaborate with class staffs for the development and improvements of kids academics.
-Develop teaching or training materials such as handouts, study materials and quizzes.
-Evaluate students progress and provide feedback with the students and their parents using positive reinforcement techniques to motivate, encourage and build their confidence.
- Manage student’s behavior using ABA and OT techniques to help them
-Use fun teaching methods and techniques to make the child enjoy their learning process
My educational qualifications include
Ongoing CACHE Level 3 diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
•Bachelor of Arts degree holder in Geography and planning,.
•A certified teacher for Nursery and Elementary Education
•ABA Certified and trained for special needs
Can offer some speech and OT therapy to help kids and parents.
An advance Level of education Certificate holder.
I have been a homeroom teacher for elementary school. A shadow teacher and governess for special needs kids experienced with diverse learning disabilities such as (ADHD, ASD, Down Syndrome ,Speech delay, and dyslexia ,coupled with being a home tutor for kids from Pre KG to Grade 4, for both the British and American curriculum.
