Dear Family,

My name is Kristina and I am from Estonia. I am a qualified Physical Education teacher with a Master's degree and more than 10 years of professional experience working with children of different ages.

Before becoming a teacher, I gained over two years of experience as an au pair and nanny, including experience living and working with families in Switzerland. Since 2016, I have worked professionally as a teacher with children and young people.

I also have several years of experience teaching swimming and have completed additional swimming-related training. I spent one summer month working at Le Rosey International Summer Camp in Switzerland as a swimming instructor, where I also assisted with different activities for the children.

I am an active, responsible, caring and reliable person. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, hiking, running, strength training, travelling, reading and spending time in nature. I would be very happy to share an active lifestyle with the children I care for and organise activities such as swimming, sports, walks, games and outdoor adventures.

I have lived in Switzerland before and feel comfortable in an international environment. I speak English well, have studied French to approximately B1 level and am currently refreshing my French. I also have basic German.

After more than 10 years of working as a teacher, I feel that this is a good time for a new chapter and an international experience. I would like to use my experience with children in a more personal family environment, while experiencing life in another country, meeting new people and continuing to develop my language skills. Switzerland is particularly close to my heart, but I am also open to the right opportunity in other European countries.

I am looking for a warm, respectful and communicative family where childcare is the main focus of my role. Ideally, I am looking for a full-time position of approximately 30–40 hours per week, with two full days off, a private room and clearly agreed working hours and responsibilities.

I am happy to help with children's meals, school routines, homework, activities, children's laundry and light household tasks related to the children. With my teaching and sports background, I would also be happy to support children's learning and encourage them to be active. I am not looking for a housekeeping position.

For me, finding the right match is very important. I would like to become a trusted and positive person in the children's lives while building a respectful and comfortable relationship with the whole family.
