Job Description
I cared for an 85-year-old patient for almost 3 years. My daily routine included assisting him with morning exercises and safely transferring him to his wheelchair to keep him active. Due to his limited mobility, I was responsible for preparing his meals and feeding him.
Beyond physical care, I provided constant companionship. We developed a very strong bond; he often looked for me whenever I was off-duty because he felt most comfortable and happy under my care. He appreciated my patience and dedication, especially since he felt other caregivers were less patient with him. I only stopped my duty when his youngest grandchild took over his care, but I still visit him regularly to check on his well-being.
