Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Personal Care Support
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Provide support with walking, mobility, and balance to prevent falls.
• Ensure proper medication reminders and administration as prescribed.
• Daily Supervision & Safety
• Monitor her throughout the day to ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Provide reassurance and comfort during panic attacks or confusion episodes, particularly at night.
• Stay attentive when she becomes fearful or resists sleeping in her room.
• Companionship & Engagement
• Encourage light physical and mental activities to keep her engaged.
• Support her in practicing cooking and household activities in a safe manner.
• Offer patient companionship, emotional support, and encouragement.
• Nighttime Support
• Be available to assist during night hours when panic attacks or hallucinations occur.
• Provide calming techniques and reassurance to help her rest.
• Health & Lifestyle Assistance
• Ensure she takes her medicine on time.
• Encourage light exercise, walking, and meaningful activities to maintain independence.
• Communicate with family members about daily progress, concerns, and any changes in health.
