We are looking for the right person to provide care for my 89 year old mother with Alzheimer's Dementia. The position is for full-time live-in care in the Raleigh, North Carolina area in the United States. The house is a sprawling large 4-bedroom on 2-acres of wooded property with a swimming pool in a beautiful neighborhood. Close to shops and restaurants. You will have your own room, board is included - there are no living expenses - meals and WiFi are included.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, family-oriented, patient, even-tempered, pet friendly and you absolutely must be a non-smoker. You cannot be afraid of the kitchen and must know how to prepare basic meals. You will have a neat and clean appearance, no major health issues, and able to keep your personal living space in good order.
Your duties include patient supervision, medication administration, daily meals, assistance on stairs and companionship. Some assistance with dressing and bathing, and changing adult diapers. Applicants MUST have either a US Passport or currently hold a valid work-visa for the US.
