In search of a full-time live-in caregiver for a senior married couple. Bert and Faye both currently 84 years old reside in Apollo Beach Fl. They both have cognitive issues.
Bert suffers from confusion /memory disorder caused by a recent brain hemorrhage. He is ambulatory and able to do most things for himself with some prompting. Faye has Alzheimer’s and other medical conditions. She is confined to a wheelchair and needs assistance in all areas to include transfers, dressing, bathing and toileting.
Duties also include administering medication , meal prep, light housekeeping , shopping, occasional errands and transportation to and from Drs appointments. (Valid drivers license required).
You will have your own room with private bathroom. 1 day off per week and 3 hours per day for the remaining six. (Schedule to be coordinated with current part time caregiver).
Both parents are unable to drive and a vehicle will be provided for errands.
We are looking for someone that is skilled, reliable, patient, kind and dependable. Prior caregiver experience required. Prefer someone certified as CNA or HHA
Salary is negotiable.
