Introduction
I gained 5 years experience in caring for the elderly as a night supervisor at an old age home. I am kind and compassionate and had to look after family members in their final days. I value all lives equally and believe the elderly can be misunderstood and illnesses, like dementia accelerates the process of confusion for both the family as well as the patient. My role would be to interpret the needs of the individual and strive to give them better quality of life. Unfortunately I am not an owner of a valid driver's license but this is trivial and can be solved with delivery services, including that of medicines which I can facilitate. My role is to keep your loved one safe and clean, happy and motivated. I can administer medications, help with eating and cleaning in the event of a nappy or unexpected situation, and yes, I have worked with patients who want to inspect their medicine. I am there to help your loved one and your family in this time of trial and turbulations. Bring back a sense of normality. I am a shadow worker and prepared to work in uniform.
