We are the owners of 4 lovely large male dogs. Our big hobby is our dogs and taking them to dog shows. We are looking for a live-in person who can assist in travelling to dog shows in Germany and in other European countries mostly during the weekends. Before the shows the dogs need to be washed and brushed. During the shows we need help in handling them. It is important that the person is able to control a big dog if needed.
The person who assists us needs to be a true dog lover who enjoys assisting in travelling and attending dog shows (mostly one dog at a time) and taking care of the dogs by helping to feed, walk and groom them.
Having a valid driving licence and being an experienced driver would be very helpful so that we can take turns while driving to the dog shows.
We live in a city in southern Germany approximately 80 km north of Munich. For the 5 years prior to the beginning of the covid pandemic, we have been attending approximately 50 dog shows per year all over Europe. During the covid crisis we were unfortunately able to attend only about 12 dog shows per year, but we expect the situation to change very soon.
On weekdays between the morning and evening routines of helping us to feed and to walk the dogs there is free time for shopping, German language classes, visiting museums or other personal activities if desired.
