My name is Amanda, 22 years old, from West Java, Indonesia. I'm a university graduate in social science and I speak English fluently alongside my native Indonesian. I am a caring, responsible, and fun-loving aspiring au pair motivated to find a long-term match where I can contribute to your family's daily life and grow as an individual.

I'm passionate about teaching and childcare support, which is a big part of why I'm drawn to becoming an au pair, to gain more hands-on experience with a family household.

I've built genuinely close bonds with children over the years, from mentoring at a local orphanage, teaching English to young students, and to watching my twin cousins grow up since they were babies. These experiences taught me that every child connects in their own way, and that patience goes a long way in helping them feel safe and heard.

There's a lot I'd love to bring into your household. I can cook Asian food, and I'd love to introduce your child to Indonesian culture, from simple recipes and baking together to language and everyday traditions. I can also lead other hands-on activities kids enjoy, like DIY crafts, coloring and painting, and I'm active outdoors, so I can keep up with energetic children on walks, bike rides, or picnics.

I'm a confident swimmer and cyclist, non-smoking, with basic first aid knowledge, and I approach every child with patience, meeting them where they are rather than expecting them to adjust to me.

I'm looking for a 10-12 month placement starting on late 2026. After my au pair program, I hope to stay in touch with your family and build a relationship that lasts well beyond my au pair year. I'd love the chance to talk and see if we're a good match.
