As a pet sitter, I have a lot to offer your pet(s) and your family because of my life experience, education and careers. My background in home pet care would provide your pet(s) with an enjoyable and nurturing environment. As a graduate of The University of Central Florida with degrees in Early Childhood Education, Psychology and Criminal Justice, I spent several years learning the significance of the role which our pets play in our lives. In addition, I’ve cared for numerous dogs and cats for several years. These rewarding experiences allowed me to work with all types of breeds as well.

Having grown up in the Northeast, I have learned a very strong work ethic and believe in the values of home, family and pet care. Communication, time management, hard work, diligence and organization are just a few examples of my qualities and strengths that would make me a valuable addition to any household. In addition to my teaching and strong customer service background, I have over ten years of experience caring for pets. My duties included creating a positive atmosphere, preparing meals, daily walks and transporting pets safely to appointments. My passion is to ensure that pets are in a safe, caring environment. For example, selecting the appropriate play area that will expand their experience of the world around them is important to me, including the use of music, verbal communication, and interactional outings.

My overall philosophy is that pet care is much more than just pet sitting; it is individualized care significant to the growth and all stages of development (emotional, cognitive, social, physical and verbal) for each pet. My educational philosophy, which is based on my previous experience and education, is that each pet has their own unique personality. For example, a 2 ½ year old Shitzu may want to relax and enjoy the scenery, whereas, a 9-month old Maltese may be more playfully inclined to explore the environment.

In my experience as a pet sitter, I've learned that reliability and safety as well as love and nurturing are just a few of the extremely important attributes that animal lovers seek in their pet sitters.
